I like the blue torch flame and the scriptures the best, cool colors and good shading.

I kind of like the current skaven plastics. Most of them have a nice steampunk vibe to them.

ditto. probably my favourite GW current range. Nice minis in Island of Blood IMO.
BTW cracking paintjob as always Genrul!  :-* I like very much armour and banner. Nice work!
And nice choice for the base, I use MIG pigments too and I think they are lovely. How did you use it? Pigment fixer?

cheers

Just stipple the pigment into place and then use lighter fluid (the stuff you put in zippo's) to fix it in place.
Doing it this way gives you far more control than mixing in a "fixer" and using it as a wash as many people do.

Well, it's a fantastic paintjob. What paints/colours did you use for the armour?

Well, it's a fantastic paintjob. What paints/colours did you use for the armour?

The armour was base coated Andrea base gold
It was shaded with Andrea red shade 2nd shadow
then shadows tweeked with dark green glazes as well as a few highlights tweeked with the same dark green glazes.

then the highlights were added with an Andrea base gold and metal medium mix (50/50)
finally the glare spots where picked out with pure metal medium.

It's basicly using colour to draw attention to the main part of the body, yellow base because the eye first picks up yellow then red to contrast with the green that is on the rest of the model. (the blue within the green shadows also helps to desaturate the green meaning the yellow and red have more "pop" which also helps to draw the eye to where I want it.
