Stunning tartan and great feel for the charge. The figures are a hidden gem in the redoubt range painted 60 myself a few years ago

Fabulous!

Ficou marcado na história

Thank you!! I´m very happy you like them!!

This is the highlander I was talking about....

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=37495.msg438637;topicseen#new

I'm a beginner on tartan and would very much appreciate any help, can you share any tips for shading/highlighting on the tartan?

I like how you have painted that miniature, and the tartan looks ok to me. I have made a simple guide explaining how I paint the 92th tartan (sometimes Windows Paint is the best for things like these).

<img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-aIV-1nZ88sM/TyfDujVL3nI/AAAAAAAABOA/647mye8ptWg/s400/tartan.JPG" height="400" width="327" />

By just changing the colours you can paint a lot of diferent patterns for other clans. For medieval Scottish or ECW I prefer to use diferent browns, maroons, greens and a few reds or blues.

I hope that helps.

Cheers.
