Mr.J - as promised, here's a quick step how-to on the flesh. (it's a basic form of what I've learnt here and will try out more intricate methods next time).
1. fill in eyes white and dab whatever colour you want in the middle and paint all flesh with GW tanned flesh.
2. paint all raised parts of flesh with GW dwarf flesh, leaving tanned flesh showing in creases/wrinkles/lower brow and inner ear etc.
3. using GW elf flesh, paint only the highest points on the dwarf flesh (tip of chin/bridge of nose/ear lobes/cheekbones/lips etc)
4. Matt varnish (fortunately for some reason it appears to have given the face a weathered look).
That's it - simple, excluding drying time, it's about 90 seconds per figure.
