Super heavy walker
« on: March 05, 2012, 10:20:36 PM »
Here is a painted up super heavy walker from Chapter house studios. Painted in the theme of ghost in the shell. This is to go with my future Japanese defense force, which I have not painted up yet.

I remember seeing the build of the original model - it's a Tau superheavy walker - and it's really a labor of love. Glad to see it beeing used in other games rather than 40k.  :o

PS - I found the thread:

can they really release a model that incoporates bits of GW kits? Nice as it is.

Although clearly inspired/derived etc... it looks like from the build thread that there are no GW pieces so technically no foul, (already noted the IP issues).

But as GW shamelessly ripped off manga/anime for their Tau design, be nice to see one of these appear in an infinity, GOT or ghost in the Shell inspired project.

ah, ok - looked like some Tau guns had been used directly rather than merely copied.
