Finally building a flying ship - The SS Argonaut

I feel like I am on the home run now, the final details are coming together.





I have even fitted the tail fins.

So I can use this as a "static terrain" piece as well, I want to make landing struts. These are evolving as I go along, I am really not sure what they will look like when the are finished. They will be removeable so they don't hang around when this baby is in flight.

Now I am going to have to make a landing jetty...

Have glued the engine components in place.



The prop even goes round...

....and here it is on its flying tripod legs.



I wanted this able to fly over my surface ships so it can drop bombs!

I'm going to be knicking taking inspiration from your tripod approach for my own aethership which is currently no further forward than a deckplan cutout which I've had on my desk since just before Christmas...
