Good question! Not a lot, are there? I guess you could include 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad' but there aren't (m)any where they take centre stage.  They do feature a lot more in modern 'horror' fiction, though.  The 'Warhammer' novels are full of them.  They also show up a lot in computer quest games.

They also show up quite a bit in dark ages woodcuts involving death.

What was the Army of Darkness in Evil dead 3? Was it zombies or skeletons, I can't remember?  ???
I can't think of much else to feature Skeletons. I think they have been overtaken by Zombies over the last twenty or so years as the  horde of undead creatures in cinema etc.
Skelelons seem to be the summoned servants of sorcerors in 1960s movies rather than armies. Good question though :)

I think it was mainly skeletons, although some of them were definitely more wet looking.

I seem to remember them coming apart in showers of dust when they got blown up or hit with the pike block near the end of the battle.

Good call, mind, haven't seen that film in ages.  :)
