Hi,

Today we have a group of monsters to release:

First is the Chaos Book Golem:

This figure is a in house conversion based on the smaller book golems by Germy, and our other books.

Next we have a Dark Young otherwise known as Squiggly Wiggly!:

and the medium sized Shoggoth, he was sculpted by Jim Grahom who also did the nighmare bases we have:

I love the brain spiders- they remind me of on of the monsters in Zelda: A link to the past!

I bought the Dark Young at Crisis 2010...it's a nice sculpt, good to see it finally in the store.

I've been spoiled rotten by Avolakia's fabulous Dark Young mini unfortunately so this one does not appeal... The Shoggoth seem reasonable tho and this thread did remind me that there are some other, older minis that I really should take a look at in BCB catalog...

That book golem is beefy! I agree about the brain spider - very, very cool!

Here's some painted shots of the shoggoth. [Please note that the cast that was painted was my own amateur attempts at resin casting and not BlackCat's much better looking resin casting - in other words, all the bubbles and imperfections are mine, not BlackCat's)]

PLEASE NOTE the Shoggoth is METAL and NOT resin as Jim say's! Sorry!

I believe they are Wyrd Miniatures. Two from the Ronin pack from the Outcasts faction.
