sculpting

i have recently decided to try my hand at scupting, and was wondering if any one had any tips or links which may help me.

i have all the sculpting tools but my partner (also a war gamer) hasn't done much sculpting before so isn't being very helpful this time.

i have already got an idea of what i want to sculpt and have drawn some rough pictures, and later will be buying some play-doh to try a larger scale rough go on before ruining all the green stuff.

It's not necessarily ruining it you will be having plenty of goes before you're happy with  the end result! I can't think of any sites that a google search won't yield. Just jump in, work in stages, and make sure you finish whatever you start!

I've found vaseline to be invaluable as a smoothing medium. Try everything you read about in blogs and forums and pick what works for you! And share your work
