I've overlooked a lot of Gripping Beast figures because they tend to have Playmobil hands, but these are really nice. And a bit tempting...

The hands take a lot of reworking. I filed them out to properly hold the weapon, then add greenstuff after the weapon is added to make the hand look right and add a thumb where appropriate. Fiddly but worth it.

Very nice paint job and thanks for the tip on the hands. My son has a stack of these needing painting (been in his unpainted drawer for a few years now), so I showed him yours and he has got his mojo back for them.

I like the clear bases - I assumed they would have a stat chit or something underneath for your gaming rules. Out of interest where did you get the bases? I may go down that route for my Robin Hood/Medieval/Fantasy universe (I am trying to find a ruleset at the moment and am stuck on either SoBH or LotR:SBG.

Mine are based and the shields are base coated now

I'm not going for transfers on these ones but will consider it on the next lot
