Lovely work Nick, very crisp whites.  :-*

I've overlooked a lot of Gripping Beast figures because they tend to have Playmobil hands, but these are really nice. And a bit tempting...

The hands take a lot of reworking. I filed them out to properly hold the weapon, then add greenstuff after the weapon is added to make the hand look right and add a thumb where appropriate. Fiddly but worth it. ::)

Ah, right. Maybe not so tempting then, if you have to resculpt bits of them!

Cheers matey, you've just saved me some cash!  lol

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Good looking figures.
Look forward to seeing them in a game.
Notice you put them on clear bases, interesting idea.

The bases are yet to be textured and have static grass etc added.

Seeing as my childhood obsession with Robin Hood still hasn't entirely worn off, I'm very excited to see how this turns out.  It's certainly off to a cracking start!  Which manufacturers will you be using for the outlaws?

Very nice paint job and thanks for the tip on the hands. My son has a stack of these needing painting (been in his unpainted drawer for a few years now), so I showed him yours and he has got his mojo back for them.

I like the clear bases - I assumed they would have a stat chit or something underneath for your gaming rules. Out of interest where did you get the bases? I may go down that route for my Robin Hood/Medieval/Fantasy universe (I am trying to find a ruleset at the moment and am stuck on either SoBH or LotR:SBG.

Great stuff Nick – nice crisp whites. :)

I do hope that Errol Flynn Robin Hood will be carrying fresh venison over his shoulder!  lol
