Hello from States
« on: February 24, 2012, 11:51:34 PM »
Howdy,

You have a lot of nice toys, here.

I'm a newbie to the forum; still going through some of the sticky posts, which have ludicrously amazing work in them.  Been miniature and/or RPG gaming since about 1976 or so, mostly do skirmish miniature gaming or boardgaming nowadays.  Love to do terrain work and paint miniatures still, even though I game infrequently with them.  Lots of inspiring stuff here.  I maintain a somewhat infrequently updated blog, http://hobbyblog.wargameweaver.com/, which I need to get busy and update with some terrain and scenic projects!

Oh, yes, my brother is lurking around here somewhere.  If you see him, give him a good kick for me.  Probably my sister-in-law hovers somewhere about as well... gaming runs in the family, although sadly not so much in the younger generation!

Nice to have another veteran here, even nicer that your relatives are already on board!

Hello there, Jim. I'm guessing you must be Michael's brother. I'll kick him for you if you like.  :)

Good to have you aboard. You are most welcome.

Didn't know there are two of the Weaver's. Great news, happy to meet you!

Jim, your brother is one of the nicest people on the net I know, though I cannot resist kicking him, too :)

Feel yourself at home at LAF.

@Witchheimer, tyes - he's the social one, definitely!   :D.  My gaming friends have almost always been borrowed from him, as well as a good number of the games and hobbies as well.  Even as a wee tyke, I was messing his board games up, losing components, etc....  A little brother's work is never done.
