New February 28mm Eureka Afghans - Recoilless Rifle & Wounded
« on: February 23, 2012, 09:51:44 AM »
I received these today amongst a stack of new Napoleonic Saxon cavalry. I'm sure some may find these interesting.

Recoilless Rifle with 3 crew and ammo box, and 2 wounded (the wounded come separately, I was too lazy to photo them apart.)

The rifle comes in 3 parts - the gun itself which sits on a small pin into the mount. The mount and attached base are cast in two halves that sit together like 2 jigsaw pieces - half base with 2 legs and mount frame, the other half base with one leg. A fairly neat arrangement really which means the mount is easy to assemble without trying to attach weak legs to the mount, something that annoyed me very much with the prior AA HMG.

The gun comes with a targeting person with AK47 and binoculars, a loader, an firer, and an ammo box with separate lid. All made in the same style and quality as the existing range.

The wounded are one dead guy laying on his back and a seated guy nursing an arm wound.

Drooling over these again, that's got to be one of the nicest RR's available...
