Very nice
 Dixon miniatures tend to get an earbashinsg for the cabbage headed and in some cases hunchback figures they produce(quite rightly so in the main)
 But I think the wagons, stagecoaches, buckboards etc are very hard to beat in terms of quality and are very fine kits

Dear cmsciulli, you are really right, figures from Dixon. Only to this company, what attitude I have no. I saw transport for the Old West, only companies Dixon. If at whom that is a figure of transport of other companies, I with pleasure would look them. I have opened this post just that it was possible to look transport of the Old West of other authors.

I've finally found a couple of dealers down in the U.S. that sell Dixon Miniatures and who won't kill me on postage! Hope to order the 'Noon Stage' set very shortly as well as the Chuck Wagon vignette.  I'll see if I can do as good a paint job as you! I really like your work.
 
One thing, though.  You might consider either painting your chains black or dipping them in a chemical etchant like 'Blacken-it' or the equivalent.  After all, they're made of steel, not brass!  :wink:

Nice work RG. Old Glory also make a few models. In the Cowboy Wars line they have a nice "Snake Oil" salesman with wagon and a circus wagon.

I just ordered the Noon Stage set from Scale Creep Miniatures and it only cost me $6.50 US to Canada.  They only charge exact postage, no handling or packing fees! The set cost me $90 US, which isn't overly cheap, but if I'd ordered it direct, it would have cost 43.95 pounds (approx. $85 US) PLUS about 22 pounds shipping (nearly $43 US), making it roughly $128 US!    Do the math!
You could also try Wargamesminis.com.  Their US shipping is $6, Canadian $16.50, International $22, but it seems to be a set fee for any order.  Still cheaper than $43!
