warhammer 2nd?

Hi all, new to the boards, so after my intro, I thought I should get posting.
  So after years of skirmish gaming, you name it I probably have at least read it, I have decided to get into warhammer 2nd.
Mostly for the nostalgia and the old artwork,I picked up books 1 and 2 at at used book store, and found 3 on the internet.
  Does anyone have a copy of the 2nd edition ravening hordes book? Or do I even need this to play?
I figured I would give this a go while waiting for the Songs mass battle system.
Upon first reading seems pretty straightforward compared to warhammer 3, which I have somewhere in the bookshelf.

We tried a bit of WFB 2e last summer before going forward with 3e. It's lots of fun and seems wide open for letting you go in whatever direction you like.
Ravening Hordes is a fun book. I'm glad I bought it but it's not a necessity IMO. Also, strangely, it doesn't fit in the 2e box. I'd say if you can find it for a deal then get it. I was able to find a copy for cheap... less than $10.

I used to own Ravening Hordes.  Ahh...those were the days.  No idea where to find one outside of ebay though.

I've always played 2nd Ed, and I never used Ravening Hordes. Everything except Skaven is in the Battle Bestiary book.

No luck with ebay at the moment, and skaven are one of the armies, well the missus army, that I need.
I do have warhammer armies for 3rd edition, and the skaven book for 7th?, picked that up in a used book bin with some other army books.
I figured I can use the points builder in the bestiary and figure out a skaven army.

The rules for Skaven can be found in the Citadel Journal of spring 1986, with the Vengeance of the Lichemaster scenario. I don't know about Ravening Hordes but if I'm correct it was released in 1987 shortly before 3rd edition?
