Kursk windmill
« on: March 07, 2012, 12:47:48 PM »
Took me long enough, me and the paintjob didn't agree so it took a while.

Taking the windmill made by Warwick Kinrade  http://warwickkinrade.blogspot.com/2011/09/new-kursk-terrain-piece.html, I made my own, as shown in a previous post back in October I think. Finished it today after some prodigious flocking, hope you like it.

Some details:

Wooden log base

Old wagonwheel

The door is slightly open....

Owlcrap:

Removable for transport:

With the added benefit in the summer......

Very very nice building, i love the overall effect!

i'm not a fan of the slottabase buildings, but the floking is really cool!

Slottabase buildings? I know slottabases for models, totally not my style cause they dominate the model and ruin the look against the vehicles, but for buildings? 1.5mm plasticcard with a footptint marginally bigger then the model, purely for protection.....not my idea of slotta base. I'm a bit surprised by the comment, as you can tell.

Just about to say the same thing. Nice conversion.
