Good afternoon from Italy
« on: March 09, 2012, 04:44:21 PM »
Good afternoon to all forum's users.

My name's Emanuele; I'm from Verona, a beautiful town in Italy.
I'm sorry if I don't speak English very well, but I'm only 14 years old, and English isn't my favourite school subjet  :D...
I hope you can understand me, and I can understand you, too!

I discovered Warhammer recently, but it costs too much, and I can't afford it.
Than I discovered another nice wargames: in Italy it's called "Il canto degli eroi", but in english is "Song of Blades and Heroes".
I choose it because it's less expensive than Warhammer.

I bought my first miniatures last week (10 dwarves and 10 orcs, for begin to play the game), and I want begin to paint them quickly (I need only the bases)
I hope I can find in this forum what I need (how to paint the miniatures), and I would to share with you my progress about my game experience.

Bye!

Frigo97

PS:I saw some english words from Google translater... Maybe I made some mistake... ::)

Welcome to LAF 8)

Your English isn't bad, in fact it is far better that mine was at your age ;)
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

I bought my first miniatures last week.
If you would see them you can go to my blog about this (I started the blog this afternoon, than it isn't very nice, but if you want just see the miniatures (they aren't painted!)...):

http://parvimilites.blogspot.com/

The blog's language is Italian, than you can't read the words, but you can see the miniatures.

A question...:
There's a website that learn every passage for paint a miniature? ???
In fact these are my first miniatures: I never painted a miniature! :( :'(

Thanks
