Heya guys

I am quite sure that I have seen some online vendor selling architectural details, like cornishes, crenelations and such. All of it was made in resin. Any help with this would be most welcome!

Wills scenics (railway modelling products) do a lot of stuff like this in polystyrene. Could this be what you were thinking of?

It's mainly the crenelations we're having trouble finding.

Also, I've seen some people on here use some sort of plastic grid spaced around 5mm for window framing. Anyone know what I'm talking about, and where to find some?

The things we are looking for, are the decorations that are usually found on houses from late 1600 to 1700 above the windows. I am sure I have seen these in resin somewhere. I will post some pics tomorrow if no one have posted any good links.

For the window grid you could use the cross stitch sheeting, looks even better with car repair mesh behind it as leaded panes.

Yeah, these will be bought and used for sure. However I am still looking for the things that goes above the windows, not sure what they are called.

Can't help with the product but I think you mean the Lintel. It provides structural strength to the wall to make up for the gaping hole beneath it

They can be plain or decorative.

Fenris games stock a good selection of building bits and pieces too, well worth looking at, Dormer windows and other bits and pieces. I can second atenociti workshop, Jed has a great selection of really nice metal windows, arches and frames designed to plug into 5mm foamboard and loads of the usual railway scenics doors/windows etc...

Both these vendors have allready been mentioned, but alas, not really what we are looking for, some might be useful though.

The correct word would be Door and Window PEDIMENT(s).
