These are both lovely entries - I love the robes on the cultists, and the red and white scheme of the mercenaries is nice and striking  (plus I love the building behind them!)

Lovely work on those cloaks DJ, had a double take when I first looked because for some reason in my mind's eye I saw the NZ silver fern on that central guys back

@ hawkeye the buildings were good value, bought in flat packs at Salute last year and are from TSS. They were a bit of a pain to put together but have turned out well when you consider how little they cost

Thanks VB.  The fern is actually HPL's original Elder Sign.
I must admit, all those stripey pants in your entry are making me dizzy  :o o_o
Great work.

That is an inspired colour scheme Kerry!
Both excellent entries and very very close in quality...  :?

Thanks guys, the stripes were a pain to paint
What I found difficult though was trying to take a decent picture that included the pikes
It easy to get a close up but it only shows 1/2 a pike, I felt it was a must to include the full pike as they are pikemen after all lol

Both great, but I had to go for the symmetrically posed cultists, obviously not chaos cultists then?

They are actually members of The Cult of the Black Goat  ;)
I painted them up for use in Strange Aeons
