Well, this is not exactly a WWW post, but didn't know where to post it...

Yesterday I found in a toy store near my house the Corgi "Fighting Machines" line of die-cast models. These model are good but they are not made in the same scale.

However, I saw the Kubelwagen and it looked to me that it could fit very well with my minis, and at 5€ it was a real bargain...

So I bought it and its scale resulted perfect for 28mm minis. Its paintjob is good and it even has some weathering

The inner part, as it use to be with die-cast models, is a plastic one-color piece. However, it has easy solution!!

I even discovered myself playing with the KW as a kid on the tabletop making noises...!! Vrrrom! VrrrooooM!!

Ha, that's funny! Last week I thought about buying one too!
But I hesitated because there was also an Aston Martin DB5, which is so cool...
Instead of a car I bought figures but I'll go and buy both cars next month.
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

Hey guys, if the Corgi stuff ain´t available (especially in Germany), check with Schucos 1:43rd scale vehicle range. I´ve recently seen both the Kübel and the Schwimmwagen, and both are superb models, if a bit large, but that should be concealable with suitable driver/crew figures...
