I always being in love with old OOP Marauder's dwarfs, so in this latest period I bought tons of them here and there on the net and now, when painting commissions to-do permit, I paint some stunties :D
When I started I thought "20 dwarfs are enough". Well...actually I have 40 lovely dwarfs waiting for the painting...Damned ebay...
A little background info: the game will be setted in a city called Inganni (created by the brilliant Midismirnoff here on LAF). There, dwarfs are organized in a guild, the Guild of Blacksmiths&Stonecutters (wich actually is the english translation of my surname :D). The guild symbols are "F" and "T", standing for Fabbri (Blacksmiths) and Tagliapietra (Stonecutters).

For the moment I finished these two clansmen. I choose for them a red and green theme with white and red shields.
here they are:

what do you think guys?
C&C welcome as always! :)

cheers
Faber

The beginnings of your Grand Obsession look TERRIFIC...red & green are very becoming colors for the Vertically Challenged. VERY WELL DONE!
Enjoy the experience of painting what you like/love for yourself.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Very nice Faber...you are off to a great start on some of the best dwarf figures ever!  Since you asked for C&C...I'll give you some.  I would like to see more contrast between the Beard and the Flesh of the guy with his arm raised...Maybe just one or two lighter layers on the beard would make it pop....but thats just my opinion.

They really look great!

While you can still stop you obsession by giving those horrible models to me, thereby helping mine....

Or just get addicted and show us more pictures to make the long working day less tedious :)

Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Another italian old-dwarves lover... that's why finding them became so difficult and expensive!  :D

Very nice start!

Oh...i forgot...
Non mi dispiacerebbe qualche eventuale scambio...se ce ne fosse l'occasione. ^_^

Thanks Chris :) You'll see the thunderers you have sent to me soon in this thread.
Thanks for criticism, much appreciated. Actually both could receive a little highlight more on the beard. I'll do!
