Wheels are us!  See tires are hard to make. Someone on another forum said that tires are harder to make than guns! I say that in the post apocalyptic distopia, they use a gene-modified fungus to make tires. They get a tire mould, fill it with organic material and put in the super-yeast. The yeast eats the bio matter, converts it to a rubber like substcane which adheres to the inside of the mould. Hey presto!
