3D models and videos from single images

This is a smalll film made with the software 123D Catch from Autodesk.

At the moment this is free software. You have to shoot about 30 images from different angles around an object. The software creates a true 3D-mesh-model out of it. It can also create a virtual camera movement along a path, which can be exported as a video. Someone with more patience on this could possibly create some nice presentation for miniatures and dioromas. ;)
