Hubba, did you do some headswaps on the marines? I'm thinking Copplestone faces don't have that naturalism you've acheived- or I need to revisit how I paint them :)

I swapped three of the heads for hasslefree heads, mainly as like you said, the Copplestone faces are a tad harsh in terms of sculpting.
Thanks fellas.

The swaps really add some character to the unit. Great job.

Yep, noticed the headswaps, and they really make what are already lovely miniatures even better!

Nice and gritty marines, good job. Although those James Bond type henchmen have a nice look to them, for me it's those marines!

The Ninjas? Where? guys with hardhats remind me of those old Dr. Who shows of the 70s and 80s where they would outfit the spear carriers as cheaply as possible with hard hats, overalls, and toy guns.  Very evocative.
The marines look kind of plain jane and drab until you see the faces up close.  That was the clincher for me.

Both great entries! I love the setup of the first one, very "James Bond" with the henchmen, ninja's and ship. The whole atmosphere is just right! Those marines are beautifully painted as well and the head swaps really add a bit of character to them, excellent job!
