Greetings

I miss those old minis. Confro had something special, perhaps cartoony and I always had a special spot for the Celts. I do own every Fianna they had. But they still lack colour.

Almost the same could be said from those VOID Minis. I just plain love PI's hair. I just wish the picture would have been more bright.

Good job and thank you for those fond memories
Good luck both of you

Thanx!

Actually ... though it was a good camera (better then my own plain "fire and forget" DC) and taken outside ... it was way to cloudy. To the human eye it was really bright light, but the cam thought differently °_O

 ... besides
I thought about entering with celts, too. Always had an eye on the Fianas! Sexy Things, the lot of them! There is still a chance to do, though ^^

best wishes

PS
the more I look at the pix the more I wonder about the start, this will be a tough one - there is even quite cool NMM with the celts!!

Wow Thargor!
I particularly like the beast at the top of the photo, at left.

Creative and unusual color scheme on those Void figures Drach, I really like what you did with the Viper Wing.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

These are both beautiful entries - crisp painting, a very different use of colour in each, and nicely arranged groupings (something I'm terrible at!). I've always loved those Void models, though, and I love the title ("Proxy Ladies" - hilarious), and the colours just leaped out at me. Fantastic match-up, this one.

Two very nice entries, lovely! Very 'natural' versus sci-fi :) Nice to see those VOID models again, and with this paintjob, great stuff! 8)

Thanks Frigo.  That Minotaur is still my favourite paintjob in my Celt army.  Rackham produced some beautiful miniatures for the Confrontation game - just a shame they threw it all away with pre-painted plastics when they changed from a skirmish game to massed ranks battles.

Proxy Ladies" - hilarious
thanx!
It's because I prox' them for my Nomad Army in Infinity. Had them on my pile for quite some years. Then - needing some refreshments for my Nomads - I remembered them.

come to our parallel universe here in Stuttgart, cause here THAT never happened (like Matrix 2 & 3)! And in our club we're still playing Confro 3.x ^^

mind: there is no spoon and there are no confro-plastic-minis!  o_O

The way the ladies' orange is handled is so nice, definitely swung my vote.

thanx!

That is some FieryOrange (or so) from Vallejo (very bright near neon-like colour), later mixed and highlighted with Bronzed Fleshtone (more of an earthly yellowish ocker-sand tone), finally Bronzed F. with white.

best wishes
