I love it  :-* it's so inspirational. I've made one building so far, and my next question is how close will it be to others.

How did you do the bases and organize how the buildings went together? Were you following a master plan?

And +1 for MOAR photos!

Cheers
Matt

At first I just made one building. Then I made a gate. Then I made a building with a road section to match the gate. I then started just making more buildings with roads. It wasn't until much later that I made a table, and then fitting the existing buildings on, and laying out more buildings, and planning. I used to base all of them on masonite, but that stuff is so messy, and bad for you breathing in the dust. I now base them on 1/8th inch acrylic. It's sturdy, and can be cut pretty easy. Even though all of the buildings are now laid out is a specific street plan, they are based individually, so any one of them can be put on a gaming table separately.

Thanks for the feedback folks, I'll come up with some more pictures.

This is stunning and epic, and really sets my imagination on fire. I think I will spend the weekend in my basement making terrain...  :-*

Wow, thanks Theomar. That is a beautiful board, absolutely magnificent. And it all started with a few buildings? Awesome! Lets see what happens to my one building :)

By your build photos it seemed that you had no interiors, is that the case or have you developed them and put in interiors them?

No, no interiors. I'm looking into fixing that on my next village though, if for no other reason than to get realistically proportioned buildings.
Thanks for all of the interest!

I always imagined that when I die I could be trapped into the models I made (was it it Beetlejuice where that happened?). Therefore it is certainly a good idea to make them as pleasing as you can.
You did, sir. Of course you did. Hat off to the most plentiful urban terrain ever seen.

Please tell us about your trees!! They are very well done and I would love to know more about them!
Also what painting schemes did you use on your buildings etc!!

Fram told me I had better get some tutorials out of you or he would stare at me...for like a long time.....like until it got uncomfortable...and awkward... like really awkward.

So help Theomar your my only hope!
