Great multi players "6 Gun Sound" Game

We had a great "6gun Sound game" in Britany last week-end.
10 players, 7 separate tables for a same game.
Each player had a pre built gang with his missions and could have NPC encounters to discover informations or clues about other players or NPC, reenforcement... etc

The 9 gangs were:
A preacher who could raise a mob againts the corupted autorities, the chineese minority, the indians or launching a crusade againts the Mexicans.
Laredo's Law sherif, two deputies, mayor, BIA's commissary, bank's director.
Bat's cow boys: A complete gang of rich mounted and dismonted cow-boys gang.
San Felipe's lawCap Lopez and his soldiers, trying to maintain peace by scaring the poor peons.
The Bandidos as Robin Hood they trie to redistribute money from the rich and trying to find weapons and people who could lead the population.
The texan outlaws they had to exploit any opportunity to get rich by stealing cattle, attacking banks or settlers. One of them was a deserter.
The US patrolcommanded by a sergeant, it had to guarantee the border from indian's or Mexican's incursions .
The settlers'convoy , they had to follow a plan to settle far beyond the Indian territory.
The Comanches : They had to delay the whites' invasion and try to arm with modern black powder weapons.

Forty NPC were identified by a small piece of paper and a number. Each character approaching the NPC could get information from me.

The preacher leads his rioters to the chineese area.


Comanches worried by the advance of american settlers along the ranch.  


Comanches' camp. A quiet place but with no more buffalos they need The Bureau of Indian Affairs to survive. The commissary is corupted and do not deliver anything to them.


A view of Laredo. Bat's cow-boys crosses the town to bring their cattle to the station.

Laredo main street.


Cleaning up after the killing.


"El Guapo", the famous bandido revealing Maria that her husband was murdered by Captain Lopez. She will now begin the revolt.


Captain Lopez lancers trying to arrest a drunk bandido.


Gunfight in Main street, the sheriff and his two deputies will be killed by the outlaws.

The game was a great success. Each had a great pleasure. Some had short moments of inemployment when noting happened on their table but they had fun to watch out the others' adventures.
The next game could be a largest one !

Woah, looks like a great game indeed. I wonder, how do you feel that 6 Gun Sound works with larger groups, and multiple ones that is as well?

With larger groups, the fighting will take more time to resolve. In "six gun sound", chashes between two figures continue until something happens to one of them. It may be long.

For larger number of groups on the same table, we had to decide something else.
Rather than by throwing a die per camp (6 !!!), players could choose to launch a dice for several of them, assuming they were allies this turn (eg: For the six players in this town: We had finaly:  The law (sherif), Outlaws (bandidos + Outlaws + Preacher'mob) and neutral (US cavalry + settlers)). 3 dies instead of 6.
This reduced the number of mutual neutralization, that prevented some players to play several rounds in a row.
