AmeriTowne building kits
« on: March 16, 2012, 01:23:33 PM »
Anyone using them?  I just ordered some and thought I would mention them in case anyone else is out shopping for more buildings.  They are O scale (1:48 or 32mm), so might be a bit big if using 25mm but should be okay if you are using the larger scales like Black Scorpion, etc...

Those are great, nothing like this is made in the UK, sadly............... :'(

I use some of the two and three story city buildings for pulp games, and they work pretty well.

I have some, they are nice.
I think they go well with either 25mm or 28mm figures.

Does anyone have any scale shots of these buildings? They are awfully nice but kinda pricey. I'd like to see what they look like next to some figs if I'm gonna buy some...

Hope these photos help:
a K-Line 'O' scale factory and an unfinished building front of Ameri-townes 'O' scale Ed's Hardware #78.
The vehicles are 1/43 scale and the figures are a mix of 25mm EM4, Ral Partha, 28mm Bluemoon, and Pulp Figures.

Whoops!

Forgot I was browsing the 'old west' section when I posted the pictures. Hope they still help for scale reference.
I don't have any of the western buildings from ameri-towne.

I have a few of their kits, they were cheap and easy enough to build and paint. I have 2 of their shops and 1 brick city hall building.. and in this pic the barn I used was also for model trains, I think it was from Plasticville or something like that. Maybe a little more modern but it works for me...
