GW rumors?

Hey guys. It seems there will be a couple of release in the GW range. For what I know, one will be the WFB Empire and I'm pretty excited about it. I'm eagerly waiting for a ton of new bits!
Do you know something more about?

Though the thing with those kind of rumours is that they usually start with someone somewhere posting that they'd like to see this or that and then it gets picked up. Without any connection whatsoever to an actual GW source.

it seems they are going to add some new colour to their range. Someone talk about new washes and I think it's a good news. Personally I think that GW washes are one of the best painting products ever. As many of you guys I'm not a GW great fan but in my opinion GW washes are a success just as Finecast is an epic fail. Some new tones would be greatly appreciated. Only hope that they will not increase their price

Supposedly nothing's getting culled, but everything is getting renamed (just to make colour matching with old paintjobs difficult) - again, all hearsay

It's the introduction of new paints and an attempt to prevent people copying the names.

The cull bit comes in because people don't expect all of the 145 paint range to hang around, and at some point in the future they expect some colours to be pulled (after people have got used to using them).

I had a chat with a GW bod the other day about the new paints and had a go with a few of them - they have reds, yellows and whites that go over any other colour without the need for multiple coats (and they are not ultra-thick consistency), yes, over any other colour without that washed out effect. These are all brand new shades created from scratch, thus the new names, but there are conversion charts given out by GW at their stores so you can match up what you already have with what is coming out. There are now to be 7 types of paint including basing (as in what your figures stand on) paints, but I can't remember all of them, and all of the old stuff is to be pulled off the shelves as soon as the new ones come out - so stock up now if you are close to running out of a particular shade.

And this "so stock up now" is the same old song.
