My Doctor Who Sontaran Experiment Terrain
« on: March 24, 2012, 08:01:09 PM »
Inspired by onebigriver's post http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=33543.0 I decided to create my own scenics from the Doctor Who episode The Sontaran Experiment.  Thanks to Jamie at Pictors Studio they painted up great.  Now all I need is a good proxy for the robot.  More pictures and information at my blog.  Cheers.

Lovely.  The Field-Major has reinforcements, I see!

Have you seen AEG's version?

Imperial probe droid... but by god, they weren't that pricey when I bought one...

Yes.  I believe it was the one that inspired onebigriver... or maybe it was the other way around. : )

Great work.  I think that rather than try to closely replicate the robot from the episode (which due to a low props budget looks like an aluminum weather station or something), you should scratch build or proxy it with an "update" of the design.  I like anevilgiraffe's use of the probe droid for that reason.
