Well Pete, I look forward to lots of nice pictures :)

And speaking of pictures, here's some work I've been doing on this piece:

Still a bit of tidying up to do, especially around the plaster but it's the least of my worries :)

There are a few more on my blog... Still plenty to go, and the hours are ticking away. I've got a full day of work on it tomorrow and a bit on Thursday before leaving for fabulous Melbourne that afternoon!

He he... he was all I had of that range, and the only painted mini lying about at my parent's place.

Back at the apartment there are a few more to choose from. Here's a pic of the progress so far:

There will be a couple more on my blog tomorrow (a little sleepy now).

Wolf, you'll be able to see the wall then.

Thanks for the comments everyone... I've got two and half days left to turn this into something presentable ;) More pics soon!

P.S. got some Gripping Beast late Romans and Arthurians today... time for them to meet their new home!

Coming together nicely  8)

I might suggest you lighten the colour of the stone work a bit so it's not as contrasting as it is at the moment. Maybe a beep reddy/brown for a base coat bringing it up to a slightly darker colour than the render.

cheers

That's shaping up REALLY nicely! Thanks for sharing.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Hi guys! Sorry to keep you all waiting on this. There is a bit of a story behind it, but I have finished the wall and handed it over to D6 Gaming in Melbourne for the time-being.

@jim - I actually agree with you on the colour scheme, but I had already started painting after you suggested it. Thanks though, one for next time!

Here are some photos!

All sections of the Wall Fort painted and put together.

Some Chronopian dwarves (okay, I know... not ancient figures but all I had on me!) prepare to fend off attackers!

The dwarves sally forth (this is a smaller version with wall sections removed).

There are several more, and bigger, photos on my blog here: http://intergalacticgames.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/ancient-wall-fort-3rd-and-final.html

And I better get started on the next one!
