Finaly it arrived here in Germany too.

It looks even better than expected, I have not read yet, but the pictures and layout and so on are realy great.

I will start reading this evening, than I will pick the miniatures I need and build my crew.

:(  It's a pitty that here in Wolfsbug is nobody to play with, so I have to be a little patient again till I will meet again some of you.

:) On the other hand I will need some time to paint the minis first

Thanks for Tactica!

Lurch

You will have to lure your fellow gamers through crafty means, get yourself two small ships and crew (or just the crew to start) and get others to join in, they wont be able to resist once they have a go at bucking their swash

Or put some treasure maps into circulation, "x marking the spot", that should have the motley crews dropping in...

Karl, "buckling your swash" certainly sounds like an euphemism, and I do NOT actually want to know WHAT exactly it means...

I am a Navy man, sir. I assure you I know of Rears and Vices.

Lon tells me the LotHS book is in Brigade's steely clutches, which means I should get it by Wednesday.

Thanks for the nice write up of the book, I'm glad you like it. I'm glad that folks are finding enjoyment of a game I wrote not to publish, but that I could play & have fun with. being published is a nice side note for it.

My copy arrived yesterday. I haven't had time to read it as thoroughly as I would have liked, but a hearty well done to Tim, as well as to the august personages of the forum who contributed painting or figures or some combination of these. My comments echo what others have said: It is a brilliantly produced book and it looks like a great deal of fun to play.

Tim may have written it for fun, but it is clearly a great addition to the Warhammer Historicals lineup. I dip my flag in salute to his triumph.
