Agent Obed has uncovered a mysterious locked chest, a Cthulhu idol and a Mi-go brain cylinder.

Had this model standing around collecting dust and decided the stars were right enough to paint it.
The Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath:

Also I'm experimenting with different photography backgrounds...quite pleased with this one, but maybe it could be a little bit darker.

Thanks! It's one of the backgrounds from Massive Voodoo.

Lovely job, Necro.
Those tongues look disgusting!
 :-* :-* :-*

I have had that same fella lurking around since his release.
I must get around to painting it myself soon, it is a gorgeous sculpt.

Thanks, disgusting is a good thing!

I've had this mini from day one, before the seller started an online store so it's been sitting around for quite some time. The best Dark Young sculpt around in my opinion.

Absolutely impressive, best Dark Young paint job I've ever had the pleasure to see. And yeah, although I don't own it myself I've always intended to add that model to my mythosian menagerie. The colors used, the transitions thereof, and that as previously praised work on the tongues, this just screams unearthly. Looking forward to seeing more of your work and thanks for sharing.

I'd second all the positive comments made above.

I agree about the quality of the scuplt. Unlike some, it manages to convey the weight of the creature as well as a threatening dynamism.

This sculpt is truely amazing, as you've stated it's got a lot of dynamism and it looks really threatening. It's one of the few (if not the only one) Dark Young sculpts that isn't bulky and looking like it's really slow. This one looks like it'll stomp all over a person if it doesn't attack with its tentacles and eat its victim. Very nice to paint as well.

Since it's almost Christmas, I present you the Maniac Santa:

Yes, the base isn't finished yet...I should have known better to order things in December...my fake snow/ ice is still on its way.

I really love this sculpt as it seems to be based on the Maniac Santa from the first episode of Tales from the Crypt (And All Through the House).
