My WW2 Germans
« on: March 27, 2012, 11:57:46 AM »
Only done 2 so far inbetween other things.

Both are wearing autumn oak leaf jackets, one has autumn plane tree trousers (not sure that's accurate though) and one has camouflaged his helmet with mud.

I painted a vague representation of SS runes on the grey helmet (two black lines on a white shield - too small to do proper lightning strike style runes) but thought I'd better blur them out over here just in case. Uncensored version is shown on my blog (check my sig.).

They look good. Did you do the stubble with stipling?

No, I mixed grey into the flesh colour and blended it into the face.

Wonderful work on these...I'm regretting my decision to buy some Renegade WWII instead of these great Artizan figures.  the old ones might end up on the ebay.

I've been attempting your flesh recipe but haven;t gotten it as smooth as you are able to achieve yet.  Please keep sharing your work it is a great inspiration.

Cheers mate!

Those Krauts need some vitamins, they have a rather unhealthy skin color... Are you sure they aren't Nazi Zombies? ;)
