Those cultists of Purple-headed worm seem to have gathered in strength, yet maybe there's still hope for the agents :)

Lovely looking set-up, those roads sure are nice addition... got rid of the smell yet?

Thanks, pocoloco!
The Cult is expanding!
In fact, there are plenty more Cultists in my leadpile.
I am considering whether or not to add to this Cult or start another.
Still undecided....

As for the smell: I did not notice it so much when I opened the box this time, and not at all after five minutes on the table, so it must be easing off.
 :D

Taht fella with the shotgun in the Northern Division's team could be TtB's avatar! Superb. :D

 lol
You are right.
Scary spiders!

I wish I'd have bought the rivers too. All that time making the rivers I have could've been spent playing on them.

I think that rivers are best made yourself to be honest, mate.
I would have considered time spent making roads as wasted, but rivers need that little bit of extra time spent on them to make them work and tend to worth the effort.
I will be making some river sections sooner or later....

I currently have only one cultist, the praying one from the Black Cat Miniatures... pretty sad, a one-man-cult :D Any suggestions which makers' cultists should I get to get my proper cult going? Spotted the thread about robe colours... that would be the next thing to decide.

Purple seems to be a global favourite so dunno about that but it would fit very nicely with Spider of Leng; white is, well... it has the historical connotations so I might exclude it, red doesn't appeal that much... Currently I'm leaning towards ice blue, as I have a cunning plan to use Foundry's Viking ladies (yes, also the nekkid ones) in a cult that is Norse mythology oriented (leaders would be those opera-singer-look-a-like ladies ;) ) and some of the ladies and gents still could be robed :D This Norse cult would also mean adventures in snow environment, naturally.

Oh well, sorry for blabbering and threadjacking.

I love that idea, pocoloco.
A Norse-themed Cult would be brilliant.
 8)

A theme for your Cult is always better, in my opinion.

My purple Cult, that of the Purple-headed Worm, is based on a death-cult and is led by a Mummy. I intend adding some Egyptian type Ancient Warriors when I get around to them (so many ideas, not enough time...).
They have been sitting around undercoated for months....

My next Cult, if and when I ever get around to it, will be based around Fishmen and Deep ones.

There is plenty to do before then, though.
Two new Lurker groups are already in the running.

First up will be the Henchmen of my Rogue Agent, the Grinning Rictus.
More of that very soon, as I have already started work on that merry band...

My cultists are mostly hobos and drifters. The lucky ones have a burlap sack with eyeholes cut out.

That Egyptian looking cult from the new Northstar VSF line of minis will make a very nice upper crust cult.

They arerather nice.
I had my eyes on those and the Chinese faction, but as my existing Cult is based on Egyptian styled mummies and I already have a bunch of Tong as a future (soon!) Lurker group, I decided that I should save some cash for other things.

Although that British set does look very nice..... ::)

First up will be the Henchmen of my Rogue Agent, the Grinning Rictus.
More of that very soon, as I have already started work on that merry band...

As mentioned before, it is time for a new Lurker group to join the campaign.

The newest opposition to torment the Ministry will be the extended band that form the Henchmen of my Rogue M.O.O.S.(E). Character known only as The Grinning Rictus.

A few of these have made brief appearances before, but only as allies to the Cult and Asylum.
Now they will begin to operate as an entirely separate entity, bringing their own form of fear and treachery to the Realm.

(Those of you who have followed this from the beginning will be familiar with the first few members of the team).

First up is the man himself, the Grinning Rictus.

He will be joined by his Henchmen to form a new team to frustrate the forces of His Majesty.
Here are the minions that he has already gathered....

The first two are these two mysterious looking chaps:

I am sure some of you will remember them, along with these other two mean looking miscreants, Master Wolfe and Mistress Payne:

(Wolfe and Payne were painted by that talented brushman, Elysium64)

I have two new acquisitions for this group, picked up recently on the Bazaar.
Pictures of those two, and a group shot so far, later....

The Forces of Unpleasantness look GREAT...suitably sinister with a touch of pulp surrealism. If this was a theatrical production, they's all be chewing on the scenery. The brushwork & basing are LOVELY as ever...Rictus has a winning smile. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks, Mister Wolf!
Master Wolfe....a hero?
I do not think that the chaps will think of him that way after they have encountered him for the first time!

The latest followers of the Rictus:

First up is Anja Olsenn, beautiful and unsmiling assassin.....

....and her faithful hound Bangg.
(Big lad isnt he?)

A more vicious, and unlikely, pair would be hard to find!

Both were picked up recently on the Bazaar and rebased to fit in with the rest of the SA stuff.
Anja Olsen was painted by Johnnytodd and Bangg by Majorsmith.

Here they are with the rest of the group so far:

I hope to be able to wave a paintbrush around a bit later on in the week and add the rest of the Henchmen to the group. They are ready and waiting....

BBBAD, BAD TO THE BONE! The Blond & her Puppy from HELL! might even beat out the Loony Lady with her Vorpal Doll as THE MOST NASTY person(s) in Town, although nicely painted.

Will you still be a big fan when Bangg gets his choppers into your guys, though?!?
Speaking of which, it is about time the boys from Northern Ireland did some work, dont you think?

Thanks, Al!
The Loony Lady will take some catching in the NASTY stakes, thats for sure.
Maybe these two can give her a run for her money.

So what's next on the production line?

The above is a question asked by pocoloco a couple of weeks ago, to which I answered that I was in the process of making a couple of Graveyards to sell on.

Well, these are almost finished, despite the fact that I have not had time to do hardly anything modelling related for a while.

Here they are before the finishing touches are applied:

I should get them finished soon.
I hope....
