Black Powder for Pike and Shot period?
« on: March 30, 2012, 08:55:04 AM »
Hi. Anyone had a look at the new book yet?

I'm growing to like BP more and more for our Napoleonic and (large) Colonial games, i hear good things about Hail Caesar & ECW/7YW is one of my favourite periods [read: i actually have a full army painted for a change  :D]

We usually use WECW rules, occasionally 1664, but i'm losing interest in WAB type games where you remove individual figures etc.

Interested in your thoughts chaps on the new book.

Thanks

James

Judging by Warlord's ranges, I am surprised a Pike and Shotte ruleset took so long to appear.  I imagine sales of their armies will increase suddenly................   8)

There's been a free downloadable set of rules from them for a while now (or at least there was :-)

We will be able to get these in for anyone who wants a set, we also stock a selection of their products and can get any of their stuff in (just ask). Although our store only shows shipping to UK & Europe, get in touch for shipping worldwide.

In fact, a certain moderator might be able to tell you if we are any good to do business with ;-)

I also pre-ordered. Need to finish up the last of my AZW 28s and make space on the painting table for Sir Jack Mehoff's Trayneded Bande.
