Hastur, Hastur, Hastur! New w.i.p.'s!
« on: March 21, 2012, 09:53:21 AM »
This is part of the warband i build about a year ago.
When i have some money again, (might be a while...) I really want to build a Mi-Go warband.

I read some fluff on the followers of Hastur being their sworn enemy.
Then i read that the Tcho-Tcho's are his for most worshippers but i dont really care for them.
Other than that i cant really find any Mythos fluff on the typical Hastur related creatures.

For now I settled on some cultists in hoods and proto shoggoths and servitors...
Cultists im gonna paint yellow with  a black (king in) "yellow" sign.
Would that be ok fluffwise?

Tanks for watching c&c much apreciated!

Be mindful of the prayers you send
Pray hard but pray with care
For the tears that you are crying now
Are just your answered prayers

I thought that Byakhee were associated with Hastur as well.
I like my games like my orange juice: pulpy with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners

What part of "The Unspeakable" or "He Who Must Not Be Named" don't you understand?!!! Thrice damned, ye be!!!

These cultists are looking good, especially the guy holding the open book. HWMNBN spreads his madness via the play The King In Yellow, so maybe some insane actors (holding Yorick skulls?) or carny-type cultists would be appropriate.

Also, the Unspeakable One's avatar The King in Yellow possesses people who read/see/perform the play, and one consistent thing mentioned about the King that his robe is in tatters, so maybe you could tatter all the edges of their robes up?

These nice Otherworld shadows are pretty tatty:

"He who shall be named three times" just doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Personally I'd paint the cultists in purple robes and the Yellow Sign in, wait for it.... yellow. But that's just because I got a t-shirt like that. ;)

Using the name of the unnamable is really a bad idea... nothing but badluck this past few days  ;D

Finaly finished my Byakhee... the are kinda nice but a total pain in the backside to put together... stole a few minutes to greenstuff the wings to the body... then took them to the balcony to spray and i dropped one of the buggers...

Ofcourse the wings broke clean of and tore my nice greystuff in half...  :'(

So i decided to fix it and to pin the #$@% wings and i drilled a hole in my indexfinger... next try: right away my €9,- drill bit broke... (the second that day... the first broke on its frikking base) insanity...

so i used a bigger drillbit and i drilled right true the little $#@%...

I was this close to chucking the cursed thing in the bin!!!

After i coolded down (slightly) i decided to fix it up... no pictures just yet but still 2 Byakhee to add to the warband!

In the age old tradition of "pictures or it did not happen":

And some giant rats... gotta love giant rats!
