Any suggestions?
« on: March 29, 2012, 03:04:11 AM »
I've begun to take an interest in ancients wargaming, in particular Romans and Celts in first century Britain.  I was hoping someone might have some advice on which manufacturers to use.  I like the Renegade Celts, but I am a bit stuck on which Romans to use.  The obvious answer I suppose would be the Renegade Romans, but if anyone has any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Chris

If you like the time "invasion of britain" and the time thereafter, than the renegade romans are not really the correct choice.
They are republic romans, you need some of the early empire..

Lots of possibilities for Romans:

Black Tree Design:

Imago Militis (North Star):

Foundry:

Warlord games:

And for inspiration  check that Phil Hendry blog, there both, Celts and Romans.
Romans are Foundry and Warlords
