Hi everyone!
Today, I decided to go to my attic and get one of the first miniatures I painted properly about 7 years ago. Back then, Blitzkrieg Commander, a new WW2 ruleset, came out, and I somehow wanted to have two opposing armies for the game (even though, to this day, I haven't played the game even once).
So I just bought miniatures for the units that were listed as part of the Blitzkrieg Commander starter pack, using miniatures by Pendraken and Minifigs. After somehow managing to paint all that stuff (especially the bazillion infantry models were a bane), I stored it all in boxes for many years.
I learned quite a bit when tackling this project, such as using washes and drybrushes, and how to varnish properly (most of my BKC miniatures have far too much satin varnish on them and not enough drybrushing, especially the earlier ones).
Whatever, let's look at some
