Conventions in Singapore

Hi guys, for those of you who might be visiting Southeast Asia, there will be 2 cons scheduled for this year.  The first will be the June 8th "Con with no Name", and the second will be on November 1st "P.I.G. Con".  This is quite exciting for us, as we've not had a proper wargames Con in Singapore for the past 10 years at least!

Here's a message from the organisers of the June 8th Con:

Planning has begun in ernest for “The Con that has no name….” scheduled for June 8th at Chua Chu Kang CC MPH.

This is the tentative list of events thus planned so far:
1. World D&D Day: TO* - Jeffrey Jway (Confirmed)
2. Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures Tournament n Demo: TO - Lester (Pending)
3. Warhammer 40,000 Tournament n Demo: TO - Dom aka Mad Scuzzy
4. Warhammer Fantasy Tournament n Demo: TO - Keith “Zombie Boy”
5. Warmachine/Hordes Tournament n Demo: TO - Wai Liong aka Kakita
6. Settlers of Catan World Championships: TO - Colin “Settlers” Lim
* TO = Tournament Organizer

We also have the following planned (as whole day activities)
1. Board Game Demos: TO - Tham
2. Flames of War Demos: TO - Edwin Wong (Malaysia/Pending)
3. Other Game Demos (Subject to space restrictions) - Pending
4. Painting Competition/Workshop: TO: “needs to be arrowed” (Pending)

Yup. We are chock-a-block with events lined up for the whole day.
This is going to be a whole day of gaming fun.

Iam very sorry that I wasnt able to come to Berlin before you left but I was too busy and also had a bug.

I hope I make it over to SP some day with the other guys from GLAM. Maybe you can sent us a Stretch Limousine plus escort to pick us up from the airport  :wink:
