Latest brushwork (added Alpha Team. 6 April)
« on: April 01, 2012, 11:15:26 PM »
Pix of LAM German Marines and two squads of Heresy Troopers painted as SWAT with head swaps and drone support. Nearly finished with LAM Alpha team, and dead STALKER markers. Apologies for the poor light.

Always love seeing your stuff!  Are the heads on the Heresy minis from AT-43 figures?  Cool drone too.

Thanks. Yes, those are AT43 "Splinter Cell" heads. I wanted some heavily-armed cops to square off against my Trenchcoat gangers.

Headswop really works on Andy's minatures very nice. Shame some bendy AT-43 troopers had to die though... not ;)

I'd go for a little highlight on each of the NVG lenses just to make them pop. Alternatively. Everyone knows about Tamiya clear red, heard about Tamiya clear green? Apart from alien acid blood it really makes lenses and lights well...pop.

Tamiya clear green? News to me. Thanks - I'll certainly look into it.

The heads were spares, BTW.

There's a whole range of colours available, yellow, blue, orange. All really useful for lenses and visors etc...
