Great entries both, the first one is very bright and the painting on those models is excellent! The second has some excellent scene setting and really works as Balin's Tomb. The choice between the two for me was closer than the voting totals suggest.

What range are those little chaps? Blood Moon?

I thought most of them were Demonworld, but I'd long since taken them from their blister packs and put them in ziploc bags.  So, I could be wrong.  I'll ask a friend of mine who is the authority on all things 15mm and Fantasy and get back to you...

The kneeling gobbo is from 15mm.com. Great work by the way.

My friend says most appear to be 15mm Ral Partha (which is "out of print", but available at flea markets at various conventions from Iron Wind Metals).  I can provide an email contact if anybody is interested in tracking them down.  They usually come to Origins -- a big show in Columbus, Ohio -- as well as several others.

Thanks for the kind words...I definitely experimented with more highlighting this time. I've committed to trying to improve my painting based on the inspiration of being in this league...

Thanks! I love the staging of your shot! Looking at your minis make me kick myself for not picking up those figs when I saw them for great prices in the flea markets at shows...!  Good luck!
