Thanks!
I am sure it was, I was busy with my Fallout game at the convention I am afraid, so I missed it myself, got the pictures today  :)
The human models are all painted by Zafarelli not me... My only contribution to this is the things  :)
If I remember correctly they were using Mutants and Deathray guns for the rules.

Awesome! Your Thing figures look even better (and creepier) on that Zafarelli board.  :-*

That was such a cool game... Vikotnik came up with impromptu stats and rules for the things and ran an incredibly funny game. Enmities between players were almost instantly forgotten once the beasts started to evolve from the corpses. It was mostly running away afterwards lol

That's awesome. I love this project and your creations.
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

Thank you all for the comments. Here are some more musings around rules for events and equipment. Red text means I need to do more thinking around the passage.
Events: need to make more events...
Trail of blood - Test against curiosity or move out of LOS of friendly models. Then…
What’s that noise? - Test against curiosity or move into unoccupied area, then…
Strange behavior – The friendly model farthest from another model makes a full move as far as possible away from the other friendly models add one suspicion marker and activate nearest Thing. Test psyche?
Lights out – Power goes out in the building until generator restarted. LOS without light source is 6”.
Who goes there? - Roll on encounter table
1.   Survivor
2.   Crawler/spitter
3.   Remnant
4.   Dog
5.   Jumper
6.   Walker
There is something in here… - Roll on encounter table
1.   Crawler/spitter
2.   Survivor
3.   Dog
4.   Survivor
5.   Remnant
6.   Jumper

Equipment:
Flare – A flare can be used as a torch illuminating 10”, it can be thrown up to 12”, ignites fuel.
Whiskey – Removes 3 fear, adds drunk or use with scrap of cloth to make Molotov cocktail.
Flashlight – Increases LOS in darkness to 15”.
Torn clothing – Name tag is missing, make fear test (or add one suspicion to all others?) Can be used as scrap of cloth.
Ammo – Roll to determine which kind.
First aid kit – Can be used to restore one wound, or 2 wounds if user has medical skill.
Tape recorder – Recorded message provides-
1.   Hints INT/Curiosity to come up with Test, margin of success determines test type
2.   Horrible recording… Courage test or freak out.
3.   Tales of suspicion Add suspicion marker to random survivor.
4.   Weapon Roll or (see location) to determine type.
Acetylene torch – Seal/unseal metal doors.
Sedative – Remove three fear, add lethargic.
Adrenaline Shot – Adds d3 adrenalilne tokens.

More events:
I don’t trust any of you! – Random Follower lowers trust for the character by 3.
He’s one of them! – Random follower makes immediate freak out test.
Blizzard – Lasts until end of game or other weather card drawn. Character outside will have the following modifiers:
•   Speed -2
•   Los 6” or 8 with flashlight.
•   Add a Freezing token each turn instead of every other turn.
•   Any turn ended without contact with a safety line or within LOS of a building requires Int test or Random movement next turn.

High winds – Lasts until end of game or other weather card drawn. Character outside will have the following modifiers:
•   Add 2 Freezing tokens per turn.
Aurora Borealis – Lasts until end of game or other weather card drawn.
•   No radio transmissions can be made.

It’s Alive – Random (unburnt) corpse spawns a thing:
1.   Remnant
2.   Crawler/spitter
3.   Jumper

More Equipment:
Kerosene – Flammable, can be used to:
•   Set fire to things (and “Things”) or environment causes a medium sized fire.
•   Use with empty bottle and scraps of clothing to make Molotov cocktail, enough for 3.
Empty Bottle
Scraps of clothing
Small Fire extinguisher, 1 charge
Large Fire extinguisher 5 charges
Fuel barrel – Causes large fire.

I have a few more key terrain pieces on the way (Generator, fuel tanks etc.) Then I will start on the heroes and the survivors. The biggest challenge will be building the antartic research station though.

Small update
The first of the heroes, face seems to be a lot more washed out than it is, but in need of touch up perhaps.

A dog thing inspired heavily by Thib-O.
