Chaos In Cairo
« on: April 07, 2012, 08:12:47 PM »
Thanks to so many on this site, here are my first offerings:

The Diggers ( West Wind and Perry)

The Archaeologists (Artizan, EM4 and Pulp Figures)

The Renegade Foreign Legion (Artizan)

The Locals (Artizan and Gringo, sorry, Ged, i would never finish a new army, but at least your figures get to star as the mayor/militia commander/police chief/head whatever and his keen young deputy)

The Cultists (West Wind)  with some Perry locals.

The Mummy Warband with a few figures that I bought off Dave Bickley. Largely games Workshop)

and the real thing:

Wow!

You seem to have them all gathered. I love that first scene from the Mummy  :o

Thanks, guys.  The scenery is largely PMC or Aquarium stores with some Conflix ruins.

This is only a fraction of where it will go, I just bought a load of 8th Army, LRDG, FFL and DAK from Artizan ( in the Maelstrom sale), the complete range from Blue Moon arrived today and waiting for some more West Wind figures.  I also just bought two Egyptian giants from Bezzo and Yankee Pedlar has offered me a pyramid.  :D

Hi H,

Well, it's a start, I have the rest of the cultists on the table now.  Should finish them tonight.

I have you to thank for introducing me to the rules, and everyone on the board for the inspiration, especially Tom and Agis for their character cards and the Doc Thompson series at the top of the Pulp site, essential viewing!

It looks like you have everything you need to play some really cool CiC games.

Well done!

Yes, it looks like you're set for some good fun.  Makes me want to get back to my Sons of Ra war band.

Quiet a collection!
Looking good!

A great range of lovely miniatures and scenery.
Looks like you have things well under control.

(Apart from the still-growing lead pile that a project always seems to create  lol)

A few new additions, Ekrem from Artizan and the complete Cultist Warband backed by three pieces of  gloriously oversized Egyptian statues that I found in Pets at Home today for less than £20. Just behind them are some undercoated Blue Moon figures and the Artizan FFL and my Royalist ECW army still in a box..............

and EBay furnished this tome for less than £10:
