Hey all,

I'm in the last stages of my 1:64 Pursuit Special project.  This piece is my first run to game with, I plan to make another for display as soon as I get my hands on another Ford Falcon....

I still need to decal it and put on some dullcoat for he sides, then weathering, but I couldn't wait to post pics up

Exclusively for this model (but there were only a few colors I used).  But I also used their laquer that I brushed on, it gave the car a deep look with a nice hard coating.  

I'm really happy with the quality of the Army Painter stuff.  I have a few Vallejo and GW paints to fill in a few blanks, but otherwise pretty happy.

I was going to do that, but then I decided against it, primarily because this is the game model and I thought that once I add the mud, that kind of detail would be lost.

However, when I find another Falcon, I plan to find a NASCAR car that has the 'right' tires.  But good catch .

I have some diecast cars to paint, so will be curious to see how the Dulcoat comes out as I am thinking of doing that and then weathering. Will be checking back to see how you get on with it.

My plan is to decal the badge and light covers, paint in the red taillights and then just dullcote the sides. On the car in many of the photos, the side up to the window frm the point where the nose cone meets the fender then back to the end of the 1/4 panel, the pant is dull. The hood, roof, etc us gloss.  So after decaling, I'll matte the sides and the gas tanks only.  I'll add a 'duller' gloss to the top to tone it down a little.  But once I get this part done, then I weather.  So the weathering paint is actually on top of the gloss or dull coat.  I've actually 'dipped' the car when it was apart, which accounts for the high gloss you see in the pics.

I have a pickup I'll post pics from the Schmega Crazies Skinheads gang I'm putting together.  I did a dip, well brush on, and then weathered it.  I'm not going to bother to dullcoat and then do another that I will.  I'll decide what to do from there depending.
