Oh no!  Not Lt. Hazel!  That is a wonderful scene you've created there Lt.  Love the muted colors.

Best of luck.

Cheers,

Blue

Sweet idea LH. Love the figures and idea!

Blue, nice work on the old school dwarves. Even better than the old WD magazines. May I ask why the round-lip bases though?

Cheers Dr.  Thanks.  I've based them as a skirmish band...probably for Skulldred.  I've love Marauders "Norse" dwarfs since they were released but have never felt like they fit with rest of the puff and slash style army I've been building so I thought they would make an excellent war band for a skirmish game.

Cheers

These are both brilliant - I've always loved the painting styles of both Lt Hazel and Blue, so this is doubly tough!

what the f***?

I love dwarves and the Nomads are the only sci-fi faction I EVER painted (or played) in a tabetop-game! Lots of skin-tight dressed girls in that army!

But then ... did I told You, that one of my "additional criteria" (right after "tits"*) is "dwarven"?
I love the Nomad's painting (e.q. brilliant high-lighting on that Alquacils thigh and knees!), but the dwarves just made my day! Beards, armory and weapons ... what more is there to say, huh? HUH??

thanx to both of you, excellent entries!
DK

* actually I am not even sure if it is "right before"  ;D)
best wishes

Damn it, this is tough! The nomads are very well painted and the whole scene is lovely, including the scenery! I always love to see more old Citadel (or Marauder) stuff though, so these dwarves are a real treat as well!
