Couple of pics...I did take more but the file was corrupted and I lost a bunch for some reason  :'(

Now that IS high tragedy!

(We are uncertain at this point what the Americans intend to do.)

What, they haven't found an indigenous population to champion, and then fight everyone else? Bounders seem damned interested in everyone's natives but their own...  lol

Following this opening of hostilities, the Americans have started looking to protect their own area of operations aroung their landing station, Sandport. It is rumoured that the small garrison of mining company guards, United States Marines and Aether Navy will soon be accompanied by regular army troops, artillery and heavy steam armour.

I'm really happy that people took, and shared, their photos.

Our correspondent on Mars Mr Archibald Harris-Hampton of the Illustrated London News Overseas Reporting team has confirmed he was present at the battle and that France definitely fired the first shot.....   ;)

Of course the Anglo-Japanese force were there to secure what was rightfully theirs in a peaceful show of force.

I believe that hostilities could be escalating...

Yeah, okay I guess, but what's that game hidden by a host of people in the background of the first shot - that looks far more interesting  :o

In truth in was a great board, with some inspiring conversions - impressed  :-*

The Venetians had the audacity to lay claim to the canals of Mars, which were already the property of her Majesty Queen Victoria,(Gaud Bless 'Er) Empress of India, Venus and Mars and her ally Japan. A stand off occured when unfortunately no diplomatic solution could be reached.

No such claim was ever made! The Venetians believe in the free flow of trade by ALL parties along the canals of Mars, including the native population, which the British and their Japanese lapdogs are intent on exploiting for their own gain.

So many projects..... so little time.......

Not sure, it didn't seem to attract much interest during the day, I simply can't remember what it was ;) lol

Actually if I can remember which blog I saw it on there is a photo of our VSF game with you in it admiring a miniature lol

And charge them a fee for travelling said waterways. Shame on the Venetians. I am afraid it will only end in tears for them. ;)

The only one that wasn't scratchbuilt is the nearest one in the first photo (on the table rather than the game boards, next to the Prussian toys not in play). Its made by Ironclad (although this one has had lots of extra detailing added).

The thread for the larger of my scratchbuilds is here:

Great looking game.

As a side note, everyone knows that the Government of Her Majesty (God Bless Her!) supports Free Trade on all planets. They must ensure that there are no barriers to British trade, and if that helps lesser other nations, well, so be it.

I stopped by to check out the game during the afternoon. My first thought on wandering up was 'I recognise these models from Lead Adventure'. It was nice to finally put some faces to the names I've seen so often since joining the Forum, and I look forward to whatever you may be coming up with for next year! Better luck with the boards next time  :)
