World of Twilight
« on: April 24, 2012, 11:31:50 PM »
I thought I'd add some more close up pictures of my Fubarnii Caravan members from last week's LPLround- couldn't get too close with the big scene I was trying to capture.

Here is the merchant and his pack beasts:

close up on the beasts:

& the 'caravan guards': 2 Fubarnii spearmen & a herder:

Might as well show some of the others... I'd previously painted one Fubarnii knight captain:

Some close ups of the devanu who were attacking the caravan:

Some flyers for the Devanu, who didn't make an appearance:

And the fiesty Grishaks, who also didn't make an appearance:

Everything looks WONDERFUL; the minis are cool & your brushwork, color choices, & basing bring out the very best qualities of the pieces. Since I am totally unfamiliar with the minis & their setting this is all new & fresh to moi. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks for posting the closeups of this beautiful entry.

The blending on these minis is absolutely first rate and really brings them to life!

Seriously, gorgeous work. I was wanting to see these guys up close- thanks for posting this. Great color sense and painting. Again, gorgeous!!!

The color variety is breathtaking.
The miniatures are nice too. Probably something to get my daughter into the wargaming hobby.

Lovely painting, if you had've gone with these close ups I think the result might have been different  8)

Did you not win! Outrageous! :(

Love this line of miis, and your painting certainly does them justice! If I could paint like that, I'd buy the whole line!

Gorgeous stuff, I really like the colours on the Grishakhs. My Girlfriend has lots of these figures, I quite like the look of the new hairy ones! The name has escaped me, but will be back in a moment!!! :P

I agree with all of the above...truly stunning PJs!!  And the basing is quite outstanding as well.  I like these figures in your LPL entry but the close ups are blowing my mind!!!  excellent work!
