Empress Anglo-Zulu War character additions
« on: April 25, 2012, 11:40:46 AM »
I bought the two new sets from Empress on Saturday at Salute, along with some Boers and three more packs of Zulus...
Here's what I've managed to paint so far ~

A useful medical vignette.

Chaplain Smith 'Praising the Lord and Passing the Ammunition!' perhaps.

A Boer sniper takes cover amongst some rocks.

I hope they meet with your approval...

Nice to see George Smith with his red beard.....something painters often over look.

The Reynolds set is very reminisant of an old Minot (I think it was) vignette, I had 30 odd years ago - better made though...based on the de Nueuville painting.

I'd like to see Smith with his revolver though, as in the Crealock sketch
