Finally got some good photographs outside in the sunshine of the Armstrong-Whitworth a/c.

I also did a bit more weathering on it, added some mud spatters here and there and another layer of chalk dust weathering.

The car turned out very well.
When is it's first drive into combat?

Amazing!!! Rally like the weathering!

Thanks! Most of my inspiration for the painting (and the techniques I used) come from Sidney Roundwood's great posts here and on his own blog about painting WW1 tanks, and from this incredible free PDF book on vehicle painting and weathering.

I keep meaning to pick up some oil paints and try that method of vehicle weathering, it looks like you can get great results with that technique, especially for things like oil and grease stains. Pastel chalk works very well for dust, dirt and mud, though.
