It is not exactly the easiest material to work with.

It is if you have a laser like he does.
So many projects..... so little time.......

I rather meant later on... Painting it and making the paint stick on clear acrylic.

Don't you mean owning a "Giant Laser"  ;)

"Nottingham!"

"Nottingham!"

"It's only a model"

"Sshhh"

The impetus for BLAM has had me painting a castle to represent Nottingham in our Hollywood Robin Hood games. Only one tower done with the roof but it's a quick and easy paint job so it won't take long to do the walls.

I decided on a light sandstone as grey can get a bit boring sometimes.

The roof tiles are from the sheets available on my website and given a quick coat of paint and weathered along with the tower.
Should have it out on Saturday on some boards for better photos  :)

cheers

James

That was a good choice given that's what it was mostly made from  :D
Nottingham is a sandstone city, makes for some interesting colours in places.

It's probably too late to make this suggestion but why not include some of the caves around the castle and (for old times sake James  ;)) include the Trip to Jerusalem?  8) :D

...include the Trip to Jerusalem...

Yes, complete with 28mm 'scale' beer mats over the top of 28mm pint glasses so dust from that flaky ceiling doesn't fall in their drinks  lol
