Beautiful entry Prof. Love the color range on the warriors and the shields are fantastic. The horses are splendid- great colors and patterning on the legs. Very natural!

Both stunning.

Alex - crisp, bright painting on wonderful characterful figures. Ordinarily these would sweep the board with any opposition.

But Matt... Really... For sheer scale and invention, never mind the flawless execution and composition, I have to take my hat off to you. If this secures you the title, then it's very well deserved. Brilliant  :o

Alex, I could barely make myself vote against your beautiful painting, but LadyAsbestos is a huge Waterworld fan ( :? ::)), and she was just thrilled w/ the good Doc's work!

Both amazing entries, well done!!

The jetskis are really cool! Where did you get them?

Originally Matchbox or HotWheels. I'll see if I can find one without the bottom sanded off. I bought two a couple years ago, modified one a bit and cast up a bunch in resin. They've been sitting untouched since then, although I've been collecting boats and assorted figures with a mind to do a Waterworld project. When the Prof released the 'Aqua Scout' I had to buy him immediately. I'd been trying to figure out what minis to convert to get the right look and nothing ever clicked for me.

The jetski riders use pieces of GW Catachans, Mordheim Militia, Dark Eldar, Mongoose Gangs of Mega City One, Heroclix, Wargames Factory and some greenstuff :)

I actually started another boat and crew for Round 10, and on Sunday night I knew I would be mad at myself if I didn't try for the Trimaran and Smokers so I shifted gears and this is the result.

Outstanding work men, I recon Alex gets it for eye popping paintwork but that Waterworld is a bit of genius Doc  :-*
